With origins in Spain and Italy, this grape has found perhaps a better home in the climate of Argentina. Grown at 2500 feet elevation, these grapes reach an ideal level of ripeness with the dry summers and cool nights before harvest to produce an incredibly rich red wine.
TASTING NOTES:Shows a deep red color with elegant blackish tones and an exuberant nose of berries, chocolate, and spice. Full bodied and complex with notes of cassis and vanilla spice in the mouth, and a well balanced finish of soft tannins. Serve with grilled meats, cheeses, or a great red to enjoy by itself.

"The Legado 2008 Tempranillo has a pleasant nose of cherry and plum with spice notes. It offers a soft attack with a medium weight palate, modest black cherry and plum fruit flavors and a pleasant finish."
