Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown at 3200 feet of elevation, this is an extremely rich and full bodied Cabernet. Maceration before and after a temperature controlled fermentation give this Cabernet a taste and body of much higher priced wines. Aged fourteen months in French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES:A dark ruby red in color with an intense nose of rich cassis berries, vanilla, and plum. Full bodied yet soft and rich, with more blackberry and chocolate flavors in the mouth. The finish is long and elegant with balanced sweet tannins. Serve with any red meats, especially game, cheeses, or grilled foods. A truly fabulous red wine.

The 2006 Legado Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva is well made in an international style, it displays a medium dark ruby color with notes of vanilla, cedar and cassis fruit.
