Garnate Red with Blackish Overtones...Great Value!
The grapes for this wine are selected, destemmed and fermented in stainless steel vats at 30º - 32º C with frequent over pumping. This done, racking is performed into decantation tanks to remove heavy lees. Malolactic fermentation follows. When ready, the wine is placed in second usage casks for 3-4 months. Stabilization and light filtering follows before bottling.
The wine is garnate red with blackish overtones. It has aromas of black pepper and blackberry. On the palate it is very intense, persistant and spicy, with young tannins resulting from 3 months ageing in French and American Oak.
